In short

This website is a static publication. It has no user accounts, no login, no database and no server-side application code that stores information about you. We do not sell personal data.

What this site collects

• Nothing you type. The newsletter form on this site is not connected to a backend in this version. Submissions are not transmitted, stored or emailed anywhere. The form says so on screen.
• No cookies set by us. This site does not set advertising or analytics cookies of its own.
• Standard hosting logs. Our hosting provider may process technical information — IP address, browser user agent, requested URL, timestamps — to serve pages and protect against abuse. This is ordinary web-server activity, handled by the provider under its own terms.

If we later add analytics, an email provider, or any other service that processes personal data, we will update this page before doing so and describe what changes.

Affiliate links and third parties

Some outbound links on this site are affiliate links. When you follow one, the destination vendor and its affiliate network may set cookies or use other identifiers to attribute a resulting purchase. That processing happens on their systems under their privacy policies, not ours — we receive only aggregate commission reporting, not information about you as an individual.

Our affiliate disclosure lists the programs involved. Review the privacy policy of any vendor before purchasing from them.

Links to other websites

We link to vendor websites, documentation and other external sources. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites.

Your rights

Depending on where you live — including under the UK GDPR, the EU GDPR, the CCPA/CPRA in California, PIPEDA in Canada and the Australian Privacy Principles — you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict processing of personal data about you. Because this site does not collect or store personal data, in most cases we will simply have nothing on file. If you would like to confirm that, contact us.

Children

This site is aimed at business software buyers and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If our data practices change — most likely by adding analytics or a newsletter provider — we will update this page and change the last-updated date above.
