What Trello is

Trello is a kanban board and very little else, which is exactly why it still has a place. Anyone can understand a Trello board in under a minute, and small teams get value on day one with no configuration.

Power-Ups add calendars, automation and integrations when you need them, but the core stays intentionally simple.

It runs out of room when you need cross-project reporting, dependencies or resource planning — at that point a work management platform is the right move.
